Lê Phi Long

biography

Born in Hue city, Lê Phi Long studied applied arts (interior design) at Hue Fine Arts University. In 2013, he joined San Art residency to continue his art project. Influenced by the spirit of Buddhism, Long is very interested in nature and environment, and has a very positive view about life and the future. He states that being eco-friendly and staying in harmony with nature is central to his artworks.


His art journey is full of love, emotion, joy and happiness. His traveling and practice has opened up to him new inspirations and ideas which is very delightful and important. Long’s practices include paintings, location art, set design, photography and conceptual objects. He makes art through historical and geographical study of human origins as well as the intervention in the cultural shift, examining the communities affection on generations.
