'SANAKI' là một dự án âm nhạc mở của nghệ sĩ Trí Minh kết hợp cùng ca sĩ Đan Mạch gốc Iceland Disa Jakobs. Dự án tạo dựng các ca khúc, giai điệu mới mang âm hưởng world music, acoustic và nhạc điện tử; đồng thời khám phá những khả năng kết hợp các chất liệu dân gian địa phương qua việc cộng tác với các nghệ sĩ âm nhạc truyền thống.

Đến với không gian triển lãm của Manzi, SANAKI hứa hẹn sẽ mang lại một đêm nhạc tuyệt đẹp, đầy màu sắc.

THÔNG TIN VỀ NGHỆ SĨ

* Nghệ sĩ Trí Minh (piano & nhạc điện tử)

Sau khi tốt nghiệp Nhạc viện Hà Nội, Trí Minh cùng với một số nhạc sĩ trẻ khác bắt đầu chơi nhạc jazz tại Hà Nội, sau đó, anh bắt đầu khám phá vùng đất mới: nhạc điện tử.

Từ năm 1999, Trí Minh đã sáng tác và biểu diễn như một DJ và nghệ sĩ nhạc điện tử tại Việt Nam và nhiều nơi trên thế giới. Anh đã đứng chung một sân khấu hoặc tham gia cùng dự án với các nghệ sĩ nhạc điện tử quốc tế có uy tín như  Robert Henke (Đức), Robin Scanner (Anh), Dickson Dee (Hong Kong) tại Đan Mạch, Anh, Mỹ, Thụy Điển, Bỉ, Pháp, Áo, Ba Lan, Hồng Kông, Trung Quốc, Philippines, Thái Lan, Malaysia, Singapore…và đã lưu diễn tại nhiều nơi trên thế giới như:  Thụy Điển, Đan Mạch, Đức, Áo, Tây Ban Nha, Pháp, Đài Loan, Singapore, Malaysia…

Với những âm sắc và sự sáng tạo không giới hạn của âm nhạc điện tử hiện đại, Trí Minh đã kết hợp để đưa không gian sáng tạo của nhạc điện tử Việt Nam vào những khung cảnh mới của âm nhạc hiện đại trên thế giới. Những phần trình diễn sáng tạo của anh, là những sự kết hợp đa chiều của các loại hình nghệ thuật, đem người nghe và xem chiêm ngưỡng những chiều khác nhau của âm thanh và ánh sáng thế kỷ 21…

*Nghệ sĩ Disa Jakobs (giọng hát)

Disa là một ca sĩ - nhạc sĩ 25 tuổi gốc Iceland hiện sinh sống và làm việc tại Copenhagen, Đan Mạch, ký hợp đồng với hãng Tigerspring. Tập trung khám phá và mở rộng ranh giới của nhạc pop, Disa tìm thấy nguồn cảm hứng ở cội nguồn của bản thân mình, vùng Scandinavia lạnh giá và thiên nhiên hoang dã, đồng thời chịu ảnh hưởng bởi nhiều nghệ sĩ alternative đương đại như Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Brian Eno và Fever Ray.

'SANAKI' is an open music project by artist Tri Minh in collaboration with Danish-Icelandic singer Disa Jakobs. The project builds new melodies in a fusion of songs that combine world music vibes with electronic and acoustic sounds; while exploring the possibilities of blending the ethnic flavours through collaborative performances with local invited artists 

Coming to Manzi's exhibition space, SANAKI promises to bring a colorful and unexpected journey of cultural exploration with the participation of two special guest artists, bamboo flute artist Ngoc Anh and traditional drum artist Le Hieu.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS:

Tri Minh started his career as a performing artist in the early 1990s, when he co-initiated Hanoi’s first jazz band, which performed for years in various venues across Vietnam’s capital. In the late 1990s, Tri Minh started experimenting with electronic music through collaborations with international artists performing as a solo artist and in various forms of collaborations in Vietnam and Europe. The international artists and groups include: Mouse on Mars, and Robert Henke (DE), D’fuse (UK), Robin Scanner (UK). 

In the mid and late 2000s, Tri Minh started sampling his own recordings and sounds and started mixing in and performing with various constellations of traditional and later also classical Vietnamese artists. Through his varied and extensive performances, collaborations, and compositions Tri Minh has become an experienced electronic music performer and an expert in studio works and in collaborations between artists from different countries and cultures and musical fields.

Disa Jakobs is 25 -year-old singer and songwriter, an Icelandic native currently lives in Copenhagen. She is now signed to Danish label Tigerspring. 

Exploring and expanding the boundaries of pop music, Disa finds inspiration in the wild, Scandinavian nature but also in the likes of fellow contemporary and alternative artists Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Brian Eno and Fever Ray.
