Born in 1987 and graduated from Hue University of Fine Art in 2012, An Nguyen is gaining attention as an emerging artist of a younger generation from central Vietnam.

In An’s mind, an artist should experiment with various art forms instead of narrowing their practice to a specific one, hence his current experimentations with various media including painting, sculpture and installation. The artist wishes to convey a desire to seek out the characteristics of the colour coordination between humanity and nature, as well as the impact of habitat on individuals, and vice versa.

An Nguyen has participated in some notable group exhibitions including ‘Dreamy Hue’- Newspace Arts Foundation, Hue – 2015; ‘Young Artists Festival’ - Hanoi – 2014; ‘Foehn’ - Tu Do Gallery, Ho Chi Minh City - 2014.
