Born in Hanoi in 1960, this self-taught painter has been well-known in Vietnam for his series of paintings on Dzo paper. Intrigued by Buddhist concerns of attachment and escape, and using mainly Chinese ink and watercolor on handmade Vietnamese dó paper, Tao Linh’s works are the results of his meditative search for beauty, harmony and tranquility.

Linh has been exhibiting widely in Vietnam and aboard, in the last 10 years, he had two solo exhibitions and 10 group exhibitions in Hanoi and Sai Gon.
