Born in 1932 in Danang and graduated from the Vietnam Fine Art University in 1962, Le Cong Thanh is considered the most important sculptor in Vietnam.

Having been exhibited widely both nationally and internationally, Thanh’s work is included in numerous public and private collections in France, Italy, the US, Holland, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Singapore and Korea.

Le Cong Thanh is also well-known in the art community for his paintings of the theme of women and love.
